  • Effective immediately, Good Shepherd will be a collection site for the Disaster Assistant Gift of the Heart Kits, including Hygiene Kits and most specifically Cleanup Buckets used to assist in flood recoveries!! Your participation is greatly needed and appreciated. Items will be sent to the Disaster Assistance Center for disemination. Currently, they are out of buckets!   • Little Lambs Child Development Center is looking for a part to 3/4-time Childcare Center Director. If you are interested, click here or visist the Little Lambs page at the bottom for requirements.

  • GSPC Sunday School will again be supporting a family in need for the 2017/18 Sunday School year beginning Sunday, October 9th with donations for a Thanksgiving basket. Click here for details.

  • New Lunch Bunch Bible Study is underway. Come meet with us on Tuesdays from noon to 1:00 p.m. in the parlor. Bring a lunch or eat beforehand. Bring your bible and you! We'll start in Genesis with Pastor Jeff leading.

  • Ripple and WAVE will be going to Roca Bery Farm on Oct. 22nd. Cost: 5.00. Sign up prior to October 15. Click here for details.

  • You're invited to Seekers meeting on Friday, October 27th, 7:00 p.m., at Good Shepherd Church. Pastor Jeff will present. Click here for details.

  • Friendship Group will meet Friday, October 13th, at 1:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd. Yvonne from Tabitha Health Care Center will present on fall prevention and home safety for seniors. Click here for additional details.

  • Brad and Tammy R. are hosting the Fall Family Festival along with Congregational Outreach on Sunday October 29th. There will be hay rack rides, fellowship and s'mores! Click here for details on what to bring.

  • Men's Bible & Book Study 2017 - 18 meets Wednesdays (except the 2nd Wednesday of the month), at 6:00 p.m. starting September 20th at the church. This year the book is: 'The Rule of Benedit,' by Joan Chittester. Hope to see you there. 

  • New possible Sunday School class for 18 to 35 year olds. There is a sign up sheet in the back of the sanctuary if you are interested.

  • Choir Season rehearsals are underway and we are ALWAYS welcome to new members. We rehearse Wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary. Please consider joining this fun and dedicated group who bring joy to the church as they uplift the Lord in song. Eastridge Food Pantry


Special Needs: Toothpaste, Shampoo, Deodorant, Lotion, Bar bath soap and Hand soap, Laundry soap, Juice, Sugar/Flor, Cooking Oil (small bottles), Hot Cereal/Granola Bars/Breakfast Bars, Condiments (ketchup/Mayo/Miracle Whip), Quick cooking Rice and Pasta Packets, Pudding/Jello.

Donations of any any food items are always welcomed. Place donations in the pantry box to the left of the elevator. The Food Pantry can always use cash in order to purchase food too. If you wish to donate make Checks made out to Good Shepherd and designated for the food pantry. Thanks for your continued support of this much needed and GREAT program!

Barnabus is in need of volunteers. Times to fill are Thursday 9:30 to 11:30 AM to assist in the store during shopping and Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons for sorting and putting up donations. Click here for more detailed needs and information about Barnabus.

Aluminum Cans Build Habitat for Humanity Homes.

Bring your aluminum pop cans to the church where there is a large receptable near the elevator on the the lower floor for your donations. Thank you, thank you!
