  • Friendship Group - Friday, June 15th, 1:00 p.m. The program will be provided by Ed Schnabel on "Nebraska in World War II".

  • Music for Summer Worship - While our choir takes a break, the Worship Team is asking for mucial talent to share their gifts with us during worship. If you are interested, please find the sign up sheet at the back of the sanctuary or call the church office at 402-484-8844.

  • WAVE News: Prayer Partner Program between the youth and members of our congregation is starting up this summer! If you'd like to be partnered with a youth to spend time together, pray with and for each other, email or have a specific youth you'd like to pair up with let Caroline know at gspcyouthne@gmail.com

  • Picnic packaging party set for Sunday, June 10th following worship. Hands on project to help create Gift of Hearts Kits. WE NEED YOUR HELP.

  • Good Shepherd will continue to collect for the Disaster Assistant Gift of the Heart Kits, including Hygiene Kits and most specifically Cleanup Buckets used to assist in flood recoveries!! Click here for details.

  • WORSHIP IN THE PARK - On Sunday, June 24th, we'll meet at Tierra Park Shelter at 10:00 a.m. for Worship with a picnic lunch and fellowship to follow. Click here for details.

  • Summer Intergenerational Mission Trip to Hidden Acres Christian Center near Dayton, Iowa is set for Thursday July 12th through Sunday the 15th. Registration & fees due no later than Sunday, June 10th. Click here for details.

  • Men's Bible & Book Study 2017 - 18 meets Wednesdays (except the 2nd Wednesday of the month), at 6:00 p.m.  This year we're studying, 'The Rule of Benedit,' by Joan Chittester. Hope to see you there.

Eastridge Food Pantry


Current Needs: Box or Bagged Cereal, tomato canned items, spaghetti sauce, canned meals, canned soup, juice, sugar, flour, cooking coil, canned vegetables and fruit, personal hygiene items and laundry detergent. 

Donations of any any food items are always welcomed. Place donations in the pantry box to the left of the elevator. The Food Pantry can always use cash in order to purchase food too. If you wish to donate make Checks made out to Good Shepherd and designated for the food pantry. Thanks for your continued support of this much needed and GREAT program!

Barnabas is in need of volunteers. Times to fill are Thursday 9:30 to 11:30 AM to assist in the store during shopping and Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons for sorting and putting up donations. Click here for more detailed needs and information about Barnabas.

Aluminum Cans Build Habitat for Humanity Homes.

Bring your aluminum pop cans to the church where there is a large receptable near the elevator on the the lower floor for your donations. Thank you, thank you!
