Seekers will meet Friday, January 26th, at 7:00 p.m. at GSPC. Jim McKee, author, will talk about Lincoln's historical past including why Lincoln is the capital of the state instead of Omaha. His weekly column appears in the LJS.

Faith in Action is presenting a family friendly Movie Matinee series: Come join on the fun on Sunday, January 14th, February 18th, and March 18th from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Munchies available.
Effective immediately, Good Shepherd will be a collection site for the Disaster Assistant Gift of the Heart Kits, including Hygiene Kits and most specifically Cleanup Buckets used to assist in flood recoveries!! GSPC Sunday School is supporting a family in need for the 2017/18 Sunday School year. We are now taking donations for Easter. Click here for details.
New Lunch Bunch Bible Study is underway. Come meet with us on Tuesdays from noon to 1:00 p.m. in the parlor. Bring a lunch or eat beforehand. Bring your bible and you! Pastor Jeff leading.
Men's Bible & Book Study 2017 - 18 meets Wednesdays (except the 2nd Wednesday of the month), at 6:00 p.m. This year we're studying, 'The Rule of Benedit,' by Joan Chittester. Hope to see you there.

Eastridge Food Pantry
Current Needs: Box or Bagged Cereal, tomato canned items, spaghetti sauce, canned meals, canned soup, juice, sugar, flour, cooking coil, canned vegetables and fruit, personal hygiene items and laundry detergent.
Donations of any any food items are always welcomed. Place donations in the pantry box to the left of the elevator. The Food Pantry can always use cash in order to purchase food too. If you wish to donate make Checks made out to Good Shepherd and designated for the food pantry. Thanks for your continued support of this much needed and GREAT program!
Barnabas is in need of volunteers. Times to fill are Thursday 9:30 to 11:30 AM to assist in the store during shopping and Thursday evenings and Saturday afternoons for sorting and putting up donations. Click here for more detailed needs and information about Barnabas.
Aluminum Cans Build Habitat for Humanity Homes.
Bring your aluminum pop cans to the church where there is a large receptable near the elevator on the the lower floor for your donations. Thank you, thank you!
